Make a new template

Write a template and send it to Meta for review. Approval usually takes from a few minutes to a day.

Write the template

1. On the Templates page, click New template.
2. Type a Name. Use only lower-case letters, numbers and underscores, for example summer_offer.
3. Choose the Language.
4. Choose the Category: Marketing or Utility.
5. Choose a Header: No header, Text, Image, Video or Document.
6. Write the Message. Use {{1}}, {{2}} and so on for details that change for each person.
7. Type a Sample value Meta will see for each variable.
8. Type a Footer (optional).
9. Click Add button to add buttons if you want.
10. Check the Preview on the right.
11. Click Submit for review.
